These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of CitationChecker.ai, operated by Acadeo GmbH ("we", "us" or "CitationChecker"). Deviating conditions of the customer are not recognized unless we expressly agree to their validity in writing.

These Terms apply to all contracts and services between Acadeo GmbH, Rathausstraße 43, 57537 Wissen, Germany ("Seller" or "we"), and the user ("you" or "customer") concerning the use of our AI system for citation analysis of academic papers.

By using our service, the customer declares that they have read and accepted these Terms.

Offers are non-binding until acceptance regarding price, quantity, delivery time, and delivery capability. All information about prices published on our website are non-binding and exemplary only.

The subject of the contract is the creation of a comprehensive citation analysis report for academic papers using the CitationChecker AI ("Analysis"). The analysis is created exclusively based on the information and specifications provided by the customer.

No Guarantee: AI-generated analyses are not manually reviewed after completion. We provide no guarantee for accuracy, completeness, or suitability.

Example Reports: Example reports are published on our website to provide orientation for structure, average quality, and framework conditions.

• Proper Use: The analysis serves exclusively for reviewing and improving your own academic work
• Academic Integrity: Results must be used in accordance with your institution's academic integrity guidelines
• Source Verification: You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of sources and citations
• No Misuse: The service may not be used to circumvent academic integrity policies

Minimum Age: Use only from 18 years of age.

Account: Required for certain functions; truthful information required, confidential treatment of access data, no sharing with third parties.

We reserve the right to implement appropriate mechanisms to ensure that minors do not gain access.

Service Presentation: Not a legally binding offer, but an invitation to make an offer.

Order: By clicking "Analyze Now", entering your email address, and selecting a payment method, you make a binding offer.

Order Confirmation: Email after "Complete Order" - not yet acceptance.

Acceptance: Only through separate email confirmation.

The CitationChecker AI creates comprehensive analyses of academic papers for citation accuracy, style consistency, and source validity. These analyses should be carefully reviewed, adapted, and used according to your institution's guidelines.

You commit to observing all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines of your educational institution when using our service.

You are responsible for checking the received content for accuracy and not using it uncritically. Acadeo GmbH (CitationChecker.ai) assumes no liability for any legal consequences in case of non-compliance with this regulation. The customer is responsible for the correct use of the received analyses.

• Circumventing or impairing security systems
• Copying, reproducing, or distributing content for commercial purposes
• Taking actions that violate applicable law or this agreement

After full payment, we grant you a simple, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and unlimited usage right to the AI-generated analyses, exclusively for personal use and improvement of your academic work. Any commercial use, reproduction, distribution, or public reproduction of the content without our prior written consent is prohibited.

All rights to the services, content, and trademarks of CitationChecker (including logos, business names, texts, images, software, etc.) belong to us or our licensors.

All prices are stated in Euro (€) including statutory VAT. The prices shown on our website represent final prices.

We accept the following payment methods: PayPal, Stripe (Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, American Express).

Payment is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract. Payment is made in advance.

Delivery usually within 2-4 hours after payment receipt and receipt of the uploaded document; in exceptional cases up to 2 business days.

Delivery via email as PDF report.

Digital provision usually 28 days from delivery; after that, files may be deleted. The customer secures content independently within this period. Warranty rights remain unaffected.

No warranty for content accuracy/completeness/currency; creative freedom is agreed upon. No liability for legal permissibility; indemnification by the customer.

• Unlimited: for life, body, health as well as intent/gross negligence
• Simple negligence: only for violation of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligation), limited to foreseeable damage
• No liability: for abusive/contractual use, especially academic misconduct
• No liability: for data loss in case of missing data backup by the customer

German law applies, UN sales law excluded.

For merchants, the jurisdiction is our business location; for consumers, statutory regulations apply.
